Simple Cheesy Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces penne or elbow pasta
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Drain and return to the pot.
  • Stir the marinara sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper into the cooked pasta.
  • Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
