Growing up in Texas, my culinary journey started humbly—think meatloaf, red beans and rice, Spam burgers, and the occasional bologna sandwich. My options were limited, fast, cheap, or homemade and… also cheap. Gourmet? Not even close. I didn’t learn what an heirloom tomato was until I hit the half-century mark—and don’t get me started on the great Paella grocery run disaster of 2021.
Add a dash of neurodivergence and a heaping spoonful of foodie friends into the mix, and here we are—on a mission to transform the way we think about dining at home.
